About Me

I am a God-loving native Texan who was raised in Lake Jackson, TX, one hour south of Houston, TX.  After graduating from Baylor University I obtained my law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2008.  I now reside in Kingwood, TX, with my wife and three kiddos.

In my free time there is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with family and friends.  My oldest daughter loves playing soccer, crafting and sewing.  My son seems to have inherited my love of Astros baseball, so we attend when we can and watch them on television many summer nights.  He loves to play baseball as well but so far seems to be a cut above his old man. And my youngest daughter sure loves to smile and make everyone near her happy.  Like her older sister, she too enjoys playing soccer.

In terms of hobbies, I have always been happiest outdoors.  My dad took me hiking and mountain climbing as a kid, and when my kids are old enough I can’t wait to take them along with me on my hiking excursions to Big Bend and other places around Texas and the rest of the country.  Other outdoor activities I enjoy are camping, fishing, golfing and grilling.

Lastly, I love watching sports, most notably Baylor Bears football and Houston Astros baseball.  My love for baseball and travelling has led me to many different ballparks around the country, and I wouldn’t mind visiting every MLB ballpark someday.
